2000 Azimut 46

The Azimut 46 is a 46-foot motor yacht built on a deep V hull with propeller tunnels. Twin Caterpillar 3208 DITA diesel engines produce 435 horsepower each and have logged 990 hours. She cruises at 24 knots and is equipped with ZF transmissions, a Kohler 12 KW generator, dripless shaft seals, and a bow thruster with controls at both helm stations. A 12 KW Kohler generator with 380 hours supports onboard systems.

The interior centers on a bright, spacious salon with cherry joinery, expansive windows, and an elevated helm that overlooks the space. The galley sits forward and includes a four-burner electric range, microwave, double sink, and full refrigeration. The owner's stateroom features a centerline queen berth, walk-in wardrobe, private head and shower, and opening windows. A second stateroom to starboard has twin beds and an adjoining guest head with shower access from both the cabin and main passageway. Dual air conditioning and heating systems with humidity control, two fresh water heads, and two showers serve the accommodations.

On deck, a large flybridge with curved seating and centerline helm overlooks the water. The teak cockpit sole includes engine room access and connects to a substantial swim platform fitted with shower, dinghy chocks, and dual transom doors. A hydraulic passerelle and remote davit system facilitate boarding and dinghy handling. A LoFrans anchor windlass with 200 feet of 3/8-inch chain and a plow anchor complete the ground tackle. Navigation and entertainment systems include dual Raymarine plotters with radar and depth, autopilots at both helms, VHF radios, a KVH satellite TV system, and a Bose entertainment suite throughout.

The engine room is well appointed with manual oil change and fuel primer pumps on each engine, four Racor fuel filters, four lead acid batteries, dual 75-amp alternators, and a NewMar battery charger. A bottom service was completed in December 2024.
