The 5788 is a 57-foot fiberglass pilothouse motoryacht built by Bayliner as the line's flagship cruiser. Twin MAN diesel engines deliver 1,220 horsepower, supported by a pair of relatively low-hour powerplants. The raised pilothouse offers commanding sightlines and comes fully enclosed with Lexan windows. A Wesmar bow thruster aids maneuvering in tight quarters.
The accommodations center on a full-beam master stateroom and include two additional cabins and two heads throughout the yacht. A separate dinette provides dining space, and the engine room is notably spacious for maintenance and service access. Comfort systems include Webasto hydronic heating and a 15-kilowatt Westerbeke generator. A Village Marine watermaker supplies fresh water, while a 4,000-watt Magna Sine inverter manages onboard power conversion.
The yacht has been recently cruised down from Prince Rupert and is reported in good condition, ready for continued operation.
