2000 Boston Whaler 34 Defiance
About This Yacht
The 2000 Boston Whaler 34 Defiance is a fiberglass sportfish powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines rated at 840 horsepower. The hull is built with Duobond construction for strength and durability. The exhaust system directs fumes away from the boat, reducing engine noise and improving fuel efficiency. A hydraulically operated pilot deck slides back to provide full access to the engine compartment for maintenance and service.
The cockpit includes a 54-gallon livewell, a bait prep station with sink on the starboard side, a rigging board with tackle storage, and insulated fish boxes fitted with a pump-out system. Port and starboard lounge seats provide seating in the fishing area. Standard mechanical systems feature dripless shaft seals, freshwater engine cooling, a stainless steel hot water heater, and a holding tank with macerator.
Below deck, the cabin offers sleeping and living quarters with a large forward berth and a convertible dinette. The galley is fully equipped with a full-size refrigerator and freezer, two-burner cooktop, microwave, and stainless steel sink. Maple cabinetry throughout provides storage, and a stowable rod storage system keeps fishing gear organized. The head includes a fully enclosed shower, custom vanity with storage, Corian countertop with sink, VacuFlush toilet, and a designated clothes hamper. A Clarion stereo system is standard.
