2000 Carver 396 Motor Yacht

The 2000 Carver 396 Aft Cabin is a 39-foot motor yacht built for extended cruising and comfortable entertaining. Twin Cummins 6BTA diesel engines producing 370 horsepower each power the boat, supported by a 9-kilowatt Kohler generator. The fiberglass hull benefits from bottom paint applied 18 months ago. Engine hours stand at 1,309, with the generator at 900 hours; the boat has been serviced regularly on schedule, and extra parts and tools are included.

The accommodations feature two staterooms and two heads. The forward cabin holds a queen island bed with private Vacu-flush head and separate shower to port. The aft master cabin offers a queen walk-around berth with its own Vacu-flush head, separate shower, and cultured marble sink. The main salon includes two newly upholstered sofas—one with a pull-out berth—plus a new Sony stereo system and television. The galley is equipped with a new Dometic refrigerator and freezer, a new four-burner electric cooktop, convection oven, and a deep stainless sink with granite countertops.

The flybridge spans a substantial area with L-shaped bench seating and two captain's chairs, a refrigerator, and sink. A new heavy-duty windshield is installed; additional strata glass panels, zippers, and webbing remain on board for completing side windows. The hardtop aft deck provides sheltered outdoor space. Electronics include a Garmin 4210 GPS with sonar and depth (radar non-functional), Simrad 1820 autopilot, Standard Verizon VHF radio, and new LED lighting throughout. New carpet, vinyl headliners, and curtains were recently installed. The flybridge captain's chair requires reupholstery, and the hull and topsides need compounding and waxing. A 9-foot inflatable tender with hard bottom, electric windlass, dual bilge pumps, plow anchor with 125 feet of chain, emergency flares, and two folding electric bikes are included.
