2000 Carver 450 Voyager Pilothouse

This 45-foot Carver pilothouse cruiser was operated as a freshwater yacht until 2018, then received a comprehensive refinish and electronics upgrade. Twin Cummins diesel engines delivering 900 horsepower power the boat to a cruising speed of 18 knots, with a maximum speed of 21 knots. The fiberglass hull measures 14.9 feet across the beam.

The interior includes two cabins and two heads. Navigation and entertainment systems installed in 2018 comprise Garmin chartplotters, radar, and autopilot, along with satellite television reception and surround sound amplification. Four marine air-conditioning units maintain climate control throughout. The flybridge offers a wrap-around windscreen and bimini top added in 2024, with new dashboard gauges and cushions as of 2025.

Recent maintenance and upgrades reflect continued investment in the boat's systems. New bilge pumps and blowers were installed in 2023 and 2025 respectively. Battery chargers and isolators, along with eight new AGM batteries, were fitted in 2023 and 2024. Four new air-conditioning units were installed in 2022. Underwater LED lighting, television sets, and a self-flushing raw water cooling system complete the equipment list. The Awlgrip finish applied in 2018 eliminates the need for regular waxing. Bottom paint and anodes are at approximately 70 percent as of April 2025. A Highfield hard bottom dinghy with a 15-horsepower Yamaha four-stroke motor is included.
