The Hallberg-Rassy 46 is a proven bluewater cruising design, built in Sweden to exacting standards for ocean passages. This 2000 example is a fiberglass hull powered by a 110 hp Yanmar diesel engine, with a 46-foot length and 14.25-foot beam. The boat features a bow thruster, two-speed Gori propeller, and hydraulic sail controls with an in-mast mainsail for manageable deck work. Raymarine electronics include new radar and AIS, supported by a Phasor 8k generator.
The two-cabin, two-head layout prioritizes comfort and cruising practicality. The main salon features easy chairs facing the dining table, while an aft stateroom holds a queen berth with sofa. Teak interior appointments contrast with a no-teak deck design that simplifies maintenance. The boat is equipped with electric winches and newly refitted decks completed in 2023 and 2024.
Recent systems upgrades support extended voyaging: new Elvstrom sails from 2023, replaced standing rigging from 2022, a new 37-gallon-per-hour watermaker installed in 2024, and newly installed lithium battery banks with regulators and charging system also from 2024. Both heads have new electric Jabsco 24-volt toilets. A Highfield dinghy with 15 hp Yamaha outboard is included. Trinidad Pro Hard Bottom bottom paint was applied in April 2026.
