2000 Hatteras 50 Convertible

This 2000 Hatteras 50 Convertible is built on a proven sportfish design combining classic construction with modern updates. Twin Caterpillar 3406 diesel engines, each rated at 800 hp, power the yacht and deliver smooth performance across varying sea conditions. The layout centers on a spacious cockpit and full flybridge well-suited to both fishing and cruising, with a beam of 16 feet providing stability and interior volume.

The accommodation plan features three staterooms and two heads arranged around a main salon and full galley. Storage is generous throughout, and the interior has been refreshed with updated cabinetry and finishes. The galley includes new granite countertops installed in 2021.

Significant systems work has been completed over recent years. The generator was replaced with a new 17kw Onan unit in 2024. Electronics received a comprehensive upgrade in 2024, with new Garmin navigation systems and new Standard Horizon and ICOM VHF radios installed. The engine room was painted in 2024. A full exterior paint job was completed in 2019, and a full bottom job was finished in 2025.
