Built in 2000 by the renowned Jongert Shipyard in the Netherlands, this 31-metre steel sailing yacht combines proven ocean-crossing capability with refined comfort. The steel hull and aluminium superstructure are built for durability and seakindliness, while a moderate 3.20-metre draft provides access to shallow anchorages. Designed as a cruising ketch with an enclosed wheelhouse, the yacht features hydraulic sail handling, in-mast furling, and powered winches suited to operation by a small crew. A single MTU diesel engine of 500 horsepower delivers cruising speeds around 9 knots and a maximum speed of 11 knots.
The exterior includes an expansive aft cockpit with generous seating and dining space, wide side decks for safe movement throughout, and a stern platform that serves as both a boarding staircase and tender access. The enclosed wheelhouse provides all-weather protection and excellent visibility during extended passages.
Below deck, cherry wood joinery creates a warm interior atmosphere. The main saloon is notably spacious with lounge seating, formal dining, and abundant natural light. A separate library and office area offers private workspace. Five cabins and five heads accommodate up to seven guests, with a full-beam owner's suite and two guest cabins, each with private en-suite facilities. A generously sized crew area forward supports professional service standards.
Recent work completed includes a rebuilt MTU engine, new sail inventory with North 3Di cloth, new rod rigging, updated navigation electronics, two new 27 kVA generators, a new air-conditioning system, hull sandblasting and antifouling, and teak deck recaulking.
