2000 Luhrs Tournament 400 Open

This 40-foot Luhrs Tournament Open is a fiberglass sportfishing boat built in 2000. The yacht was re-powered in 2024 with a pair of Cummins QSB 5.9 diesel engines rated at 425 horsepower each, installed as running take-outs from 2006 models.

The open layout includes one cabin and one head, typical of the Tournament 400 design for day fishing and overnight capability. The boat has a 14-foot beam and is built for both comfort and seakeeping in offshore conditions.

The owner has maintained and upgraded the boat throughout his ownership, including recent work on electronics and other systems. The re-powering with the Cummins engines represents a significant refresh of the yacht's propulsion.
