2000 Mainship 390 Trawler

The Mainship 390 is a 35-foot fiberglass trawler powered by a single 170-horsepower Caterpillar diesel engine with freshwater cooling, an engine alarm system, and a standard fire extinguisher system. A bow thruster is included for single-engine boats. The design emphasizes ease of handling for shorthanded cruising, with a starboard helm sliding door off the salon and a large screened sliding door to the cockpit. The lower helm station features full instrumentation, wipers, and washers, while the flybridge helm offers broad visibility, complete instrumentation, and ample space for electronics including a radar mast.

The interior centers on a spacious salon finished in warm teak with designer fabrics, a color television and VCR, stereo, and opening windows with screens. The galley is well-equipped with a range, oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator, oversize sink, abundant cabinet storage, and Corian countertops. The master stateroom has a center island bed, cedar-lined hanging lockers, an opening portlight and hatch, and generous storage. A second stateroom offers twin berths, a hanging locker, opening hatch, portlight, and storage. The head features a molded fiberglass interior with built-in vanity, shower, electric marine toilet, opening hatch, portlight, and mirror.

The flybridge is a substantial entertaining area with seating for more than six, a drop-leaf table, and access via a wide molded stairway with full handrail. The cockpit includes deep storage wells and a lazarette. The forward deck is protected by a high bulwark with a walk-around design for secure anchor work access.
