The Mainship Pilot 34 is a 34-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by a single Yanmar 6LP.STE diesel engine producing 300 horsepower. The hull design draws from traditional lobster boat ancestry, featuring a steep plumb bow, gentle sheer line, and rounded forward sections that allow the boat to cut through head seas with a soft entry. Flatter aft sections and a deep full keel with sand shoe provide lift, fuel economy, and grounding protection.
Topside, the cockpit accommodates a double-wide helm seat and companion seating, with side lounges that convert to berths when backrests are removed. A hydraulically-assisted engine access hatch facilitates maintenance, while a tilt-up console provides easy access to electronics and wiring. The boat includes a built-in insulated cooler box and a standard transom door.
Below deck, the single cabin offers a forward stateroom with extra-long innerspring berths, hanging lockers, and storage drawers. The galley features teak trim, Corian counter surfaces, ample storage, a microwave, dual cooktop, refrigerator, freezer, and a slide-out pantry. A full head includes a Corian-covered vanity, shower, and VacuFlush toilet. The dinette converts into a double berth and incorporates additional storage. A color television with VCR swivels for viewing from the stateroom, galley, or dinette.
