The 2000 Morris Wolf Class 44 is a semi-custom downeast express cruiser built with fiberglass construction and powered by twin CAT 660 hp diesel engines. This was the final Wolf Class 44 produced at Morris Yachts and features additional freeboard compared to earlier examples—roughly 2.25 inches more—which accommodates the larger engine package and raised bridge deck. The boat cruises comfortably at 27 to 28 knots with both engines and is capable of single-engine cruising at 22 knots, with a maximum speed exceeding 33 knots. The extra weight and power deliver responsive handling and a stable ride through variable sea conditions.
The bridge deck offers exceptional sight lines for the helmsperson, with protected seating for three to four couples including Stidd pedestal chairs and generous settees. The cockpit is large and functional, fitted with a wet bar, full beam transom seating, and integrated boarding steps. Below, the interior provides legitimate cruising accommodation with a private forward cabin featuring an island berth, a separate dinette lounge, full galley, and a large head with separate shower stall. Twin engines and a bow thruster make close-quarters maneuvering straightforward.
The boat has been maintained in top condition throughout its twenty-plus year history and represents one of the finest riding powerboats in its class.
