This 2000 Nordhavn 50 is a two-stateroom motor yacht built on the design legacy that made the N50 a respected long-range cruising platform. The fiberglass hull measures 50 feet in length with a 16-foot beam and is powered by a single Lugger diesel engine paired with a Yanmar wing engine. The boat has been continuously upgraded and maintained throughout its ownership, with substantial work focused on offshore reliability, redundancy systems, and at-anchor livability. A 12HP ABT bow thruster and ABT/TRAC 220 stabilizers support maneuverability and comfort. Recent updates include new headliners throughout the salon, galley, and pilothouse applied in April 2026.
The amidships owner's suite features a queen island berth, abundant storage, hanging lockers, and a private ensuite head and shower. The forward guest stateroom offers a full-size berth, desk station, and private ensuite. Both cabins are finished in classic teak and spruce joinery. The salon includes an L-shaped settee with adjustable table, Stressless lounge chair, teak and spruce sole, and built-in cabinetry. Climate control is managed by CruiseAir reverse-cycle air conditioning and a four-zone Webasto heating system. The galley features granite countertops, Force 10 LPG stove and oven, Frigidaire refrigerator with ice maker, Sub-Zero drawer freezer, convection microwave, and extensive storage.
The pilothouse is configured for serious passagemaking with twin navigation PCs, Furuno radar systems, Nobeltec TimeZero, Rose Point Coastal Explorer, Maretron monitoring, redundant autopilots, and four steering stations. Electrical systems include a Magnum inverter/charger, Victron charging systems, a 710-watt solar array, and a 10-battery Firefly carbon foam bank. A Northern Lights 12kW generator provides additional power. Navigation and electronics have been extensively modernized for offshore redundancy.
Deck equipment includes twin Forespar Flopper Stopper systems, a Sarca Excell 137-pound anchor, Maxwell 3500 windlass with 450 feet of chain, Airtex davit, Viking liferaft, and a cockpit control station. A 13-foot Highfield aluminum-hull inflatable tender with a 30HP Tohatsu outboard was added in 2023, outfitted with downrigger and crab pot puller capabilities. The yacht carries fresh and saltwater washdowns, cockpit shower, and Sunbrella awning.
