The Northern Marine 75 is a full-displacement expedition yacht built in 2000 with proven blue-water credentials. At 75 feet with an 18.5-foot beam, she represents one of only four hulls built to this exact specification—a configuration regarded by Northern Marine owners as among the finest the builder produced. Her 700 horsepower Lugger diesel engine delivers a cruising speed of 9 knots with a fuel capacity of up to 4,396 gallons, enabling ocean crossings with a range approaching 5,000 nautical miles. The engine was upgraded from the original installation to increase power and performance. A 3,000-pound crane on the spacious aft boat deck accommodates tenders, water toys, and gear with remarkable flexibility, capable of launching to port, starboard, or the swim platform.
The accommodations comprise four staterooms and five bathrooms across thoughtfully designed living spaces. The owner's suite features a full-beam island queen berth with walk-around access, cedar-lined closets, and an ensuite head with separate shower. The VIP stateroom offers an island queen with water-level viewing window and ensuite bath. The guest cabin provides twin beds with shared hall bathroom. Forward crew quarters include three bunks with private bath. The salon spans the main deck with U-shaped seating, leather swivel chairs, and an eight-person dining table. The galley features granite countertops with custom carved backsplash, Sub-Zero refrigerator with rebuilt cooling system, Miele electric cooktop, and convection oven.
Recent upgrades completed in 2024 include all navigation electronics, audio-visual systems, and networking infrastructure. The Garmin 9000 series displays, Furuno and FLIR equipment, Maretron monitoring systems, and Naiad stabilizers support modern cruising. Hydraulic bow and stern thrusters with proportional ABT controls, dual wing stations with full visibility, and Dockmate remote control enable single-handed operation. Two generators provide redundancy, with a get-home drive operable from either genset PTO. The boat features Samsung Frame televisions throughout, WIIM audio streaming, and high-speed Cat6 networking. All staterooms include cedar closets, custom granite countertops, and individual climate control. November 2025 survey records exceptional condition with all maintenance current and recent dry-dock bottom work completed in September 2025.
