The 2000 Pursuit 3000 Express is a 30-foot fiberglass sportfish express cruiser built for both offshore fishing and weekend cruising. Twin Mercruiser gasoline engines deliver 700 horsepower, with a cruising speed around 28 knots and a top speed of 38 knots. The deep-V hull and 10.5-foot beam provide stable offshore handling. A recent survey was completed in July 2024.
The boat has undergone extensive mechanical upgrades. The starboard engine was rebuilt in 2022 and now has under 200 hours. The port engine is new, installed in 2025 as a crate unit with approximately 5 hours of runtime. New engine hatch rams and switch panel were installed in 2024. Canvas, upholstery, and hull finish have all been refreshed.
The cabin layout includes a V-berth forward and mid-cabin berth, sleeping four. Below deck is a galley with sink, microwave, cooktop, and refrigerator, plus an enclosed head with marine toilet, sink, and shower. Air conditioning and heating provide climate control. The cockpit is open and wide, designed for fishing or entertaining, with a swim platform, transom door, and bow pulpit. Fishing features include a livewell, fish boxes, bait station, rod holders, and downriggers.
The helm is protected with full-height windshield and fresh upholstery, offering good forward visibility. Electronics include Raymarine chartplotter, GPS, and depthsounder. Tilt steering and trim tabs aid in operation. The boat runs on a freshwater closed cooling system. A trailer may be available.
