2000 Regina 43

The 2000 Regina 43 is a Swedish-built deck saloon cruiser designed for offshore bluewater sailing and extended cruising. The design emphasizes practical construction and comfort, with a raised saloon offering excellent visibility and a bright interior. The hull is fiberglass, 43.5 feet in length with a 13.12-foot beam, powered by a Yammer 4JH3-ST diesel engine producing 85 horsepower with 5,014 hours logged.

Accommodation includes two cabins and one head. The full-beam aft owner's cabin features an ensuite shower, while a forward double cabin serves as the second sleeping space. The saloon provides additional bunk space and includes seating for guests, a navigation station, and ample storage. The galley is equipped with a two-burner gas stove with oven, double sink, two refrigerators, and pressurized hot and cold water. A washing machine is installed below deck.

The yacht is rigged for short-handed operation with hydraulic furling systems for both mainsail and genoa, supported by electric winches and manual units on the mast. Standing rigging was renewed in 2024, and a new staysail was added the same year. Sails include a 2014 mainsail, 2014 genoa, 2024 staysail, and a gennaker. Fuel capacity totals 750 liters across two tanks, with water capacity of 870 liters distributed among three tanks. A 5-kilowatt Westerbeke generator provides shore and onboard power.

Systems include air conditioning, heating, a watermaker (requiring service), bow thruster, and comprehensive navigation electronics including chartplotter, autopilot, radar, and VHF radio. Deck features teak surfaces, electric windlass with dual anchors and chain, recent bimini and sprayhood with inox framing, and a dinghy with 3.3-horsepower Mercury outboard. Safety equipment includes liferaft, EPIRB, life jackets, and emergency tiller.
