The 2000 Sea Ray 400 Sedan Bridge is a 40-foot flybridge cruiser built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Caterpillar 3116 diesel engines rated at 350 horsepower each, with approximately 810 hours. The boat cruises at 20 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 25 knots. A newer Raymarine electronics suite supports navigation and engine monitoring, while the flybridge offers a fully enclosed canvas and isinglass cover with triple swivel helm chairs and a large U-shaped seating area.
Below deck, the yacht accommodates two staterooms forward and features two heads, each with its own separate shower stall. The galley is well equipped with a newer Vitrifrigo refrigerator, three-burner electric cooktop, microwave, and integral sink with pressurized hot and cold water. A raised dinette provides dining with views, and the main salon features two opposing sofas—one power-controlled to convert into a full-size berth—with a full-size sliding glass door opening to the cockpit.
The boat includes a comprehensive electrical and mechanical package: an 8 kW Westerbeke diesel generator, Victron 2000-watt inverter-charger, dual 30-amp shore power inlets, and eight 6-volt plus three 12-volt batteries. Hydraulic trim tabs, hydraulic steering, and an electric windlass support seamless operation. Additional features include cherry wood interior, two climate control units with central vacuum, three televisions, a hot and cold cockpit shower, fiberglass swim platform with stainless davit clips, and a propane BBQ.
