The Sea Ray 420 Aft Cabin is a 45-foot fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines. Built in 2000, this three-stateroom design combines comfortable cruising accommodations with a well-appointed cockpit and protected aft deck hardtop. The yacht features a forward-mounted helm offering good visibility, with the upper deck arranged to gather guests around a bar and entertainment area fitted with a Clarion sound system and seating that includes custom slide and swivel helm seats, an aft-facing sun lounger, and a bench seat. A transom door provides access to the swim platform.
Below deck, the main salon centers on an L-shaped sofa with pull-out ottomans facing a TV–VCR–radio combination and Clarion stereo with six-disc CD changer. The raised L-shaped dinette seats four. The galley is fully equipped with a three-burner electric stove, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, sink, custom countertops with Corian covers, a coffee maker, and substantial storage throughout. Sea Ray's patented underwater exhaust system reduces engine noise in the cabin.
The aft master stateroom features a queen-size bed with innerspring mattress, full master head with shower, and storage, along with an entertainment center. The forward V-berth stateroom has a full-size pedestal bed with built-ins and its own TV–VCR–radio. A third stateroom to port includes twin beds. The aft deck is protected by a fiberglass hardtop with custom skirts and acrylic doors. The swim platform includes an oversized storage compartment with gas-assisted hatch and automatic sump pump. Standard systems include a digital LCD systems monitor, remote-start generator, Raytheon electronics, and anchor washdown hookup.
