2000 Sea Ray Sundancer 510

This 51-foot Sea Ray Sundancer is a diesel-powered express cruiser built on a fiberglass hull with twin Caterpillar C-12 engines rated at 1,400 horsepower combined. The engines were upgraded by Sea Ray in 2002 from the original specification and feature electronic fuel injection with digital readouts. A Westerbeke 15 kW generator provides independent power. The boat cruises at approximately 26 knots and reaches 40 knots at top speed, with a draft of 4 feet 3 inches that permits access to shallow anchorages and protected waters.

Below deck, the yacht offers three private sleeping areas and two full heads with showers. The galley includes a refrigerator, stove, microwave oven with a slide-out breakfast bar, and a washer-dryer combination. Five marine reverse-cycle air conditioning units—three in the cabins and two at the helm—provide year-round climate control. Navigation equipment includes dual chart plotters, radar, sonar with forward-facing capability, and a bow hailing system for communication with crew or dock personnel from the helm.

The open deck features a camper canvas, a hydraulic swim platform with remote FOB control, and a retractable electric sun lounge. Additional amenities include an anchor windlass with 200 feet of chain, a bow spotlight, transom shower, cockpit wet bar, and integrated underwater and cockpit lighting controllable remotely. Hydraulic steering with electronic engine controls and a bow thruster aid handling and docking. The hull was refinished in 2014 with Blue Awlgrip paint and white boot stripe with gold cove accent.

The engines carry approximately 1,050 hours of run time. A complete service was performed in 2024. Dual 250V shorepower inputs with Glendenning cablemaster connection support the ship's systems and air conditioning when docked.
