2000 Silverton 422 Motor Yacht

This 42-foot Silverton motor yacht dates from 2000 and represents the builder's well-known approach to maximizing interior volume and comfort in a mid-size cruiser. Built on a fiberglass hull with twin Mercruiser 8.2L 502 gasoline engines producing 380 hp each, the boat is powered for stable, straightforward handling.

The layout centers on a spacious main salon with an L-shaped couch, dinette table, and breakfast bar, opening to a fully-equipped galley with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer. Two staterooms provide sleeping accommodations—the master features a centerline berth and ensuite head with shower, while the guest stateroom includes a second head with shower. Both cabins include storage and cabinetry throughout.

The aft deck is a notable feature, fitted with a wet bar, refrigerator added in 2023, and full canvas and isinglass enclosure upgraded in 2025. The flybridge includes forward lounge seating and a three-seat helm position with visibility for navigation. Garmin chartplotter and upgraded marine stereo controls support operation. Recent work includes new Mercruiser engines installed in 2012 with 700 hours of operation, exhaust manifolds and risers replaced in 2025, new cutlass bearing and reconditioned propellers in 2024, and reupholstered helm bench seating. Fuel capacity is 400 gallons with 132 gallons fresh water and 58 gallons holding tank.
