The 2000 Sunseeker Predator 80 is a substantial performance yacht built on a fiberglass hull and powered by three MAN diesel engines totaling 4,050 horsepower, paired with triple Arneson surface drives. This 80-foot motor yacht planes rapidly and maintains a cruising speed of 30 knots with capable handling thanks to bow and stern thrusters that aid docking and maneuvering. The yacht underwent a comprehensive refit in 2022 that included a complete hull repaint, new antifouling bottom paint, full Arneson drive overhaul, major service to all engines and generators, and new engine room sound insulation and fireproofing.
The accommodation layout provides three cabins and three heads, with generous entertaining spaces both above and below deck. The motorized retractable sunroof opens the main salon to natural light, while the expansive cockpit and forward sunpad lounge areas create extensive outdoor living zones. Two generators—20kW and 27kW—support the onboard systems.
The 2022 refit addressed the entire vessel systematically: all teak decking was restored and replaced, bilge compartments were repainted, chrome and stainless steel were polished and restored, and interior finishes were refined. New sunshades, sunpads, and a lounge tent were added to the bow area. Engine hours stood at approximately 1,450 at the time of refit.
