2000 Viking 55 Convertible

The 55 Viking Convertible is a proven sportfisher design built on a fiberglass hull 55.8 feet long with a 17.3-foot beam. Twin MAN 1200 horsepower diesel engines power the boat, each with approximately 6,000 hours logged. The engines sit in a spacious, accessible engine room. Dual Onen Marine gensets provide auxiliary power, paired with a 1579-gallon fuel capacity. Navigation and fish-finding electronics include dual Furuno radars, Garmin plotter, Furuno color sounder, Simrad autopilot and VHF direction finder, and multiple communication systems. A Sleipner bow thruster aids maneuverability, while four marine air-conditioning units maintain climate control throughout the boat.

Topside, the flybridge offers a comfortable lounging area with panoramic views. The main deck features a Pompanette fighting chair, rod holders along the gunwales and outrigger positions, rigging station, electric grill, bait freezer, davit crane, and hatch access to the engine room. A bow-mounted electric windlass and cradle for a skiff complete the working areas.

Below, the interior showcases wood finishes throughout. The galley includes a three-burner glass stovetop, Sub-Zero refrigerator with freezer drawers, convection microwave, and ice maker. A dining table with seating faces the galley, and an L-shaped lounge is nearby. The accommodations include a master suite with queen berth and in-suite head with walk-in shower, two guest cabins with berths, a shared head with shower, and a laundry area with washer and dryer. Entertainment systems include multiple televisions, DVD and VHS players, and stereo components with interior and exterior speakers.

Additional features include a water maker, hot water heater, multiple battery banks with charging systems, Vacuflush heads, and a full complement of fishing tackle and safety equipment. The boat includes outriggers, rod holders positioned throughout, and conventional and flying gaffs.
