The 2000 Wellcraft 330 Coastal is a 33-foot sportfish designed to balance serious fishing capability with comfortable cruising. Twin 454 engines produce 760 horsepower and cruise at 17 knots, with a maximum speed of 24 knots. The boat is built on a fiberglass hull and features trim tabs for improved handling.
The layout centers on a large open cockpit suited for trolling and fishing. A hard top with isinglass enclosure shelters the helm, which opens to extensive fishing amenities: a live-well, rigging station, gunwale-mounted rod holders, under-gunwale rod racks, and twin fish boxes built into the deck. A folding transom bench provides additional seating, and a walk-through transom leads to a swim platform with ladder. The bow includes a pulpit.
Below deck, accommodation is arranged with a forward cabin and convertible dinette that sleep four. A VacuFlush head with shower serves the single head. The galley is equipped with a sink, refrigerator, single-burner stove, and microwave. Wi-Fi is available throughout.
The boat underwent major upgrades beginning in 2018. In 2023, the engines were replaced with twin New Horizon H.O. 454s and refitted with a new cooling system, manifolds, and risers. Additional work completed since 2020 includes transmission dampers, exhaust waterlines, dripless and cutlass bearings, reupholstered seating, renewed isinglass, underwater lights, new radio and speakers, and a Simrad chartplotter with fishfinder and radar integrated alongside a Lowrance GPS and Raytheon autopilot.
