The World Cat 246 SF is a 24.5-foot catamaran powered by twin Yamaha outboards totaling 400 horsepower, capable of speeds up to 51 knots. Built on the company's Vectorflo hull design, this mid-sized cat delivers the ride quality and stability characteristics of a larger boat, making it well-suited for serious fishing and offshore use.
The layout centers on fishing functionality. A 300-quart insulated fish box sits at waist level across the transom, paired with a built-in tackle storage unit with multiple drawers. Forward, a 130-quart insulated compartment handles food and beverages. The helm features a wrap-around windshield, tilt steering, and a dedicated electronics compartment, with the command console outfitted with a compass, storage cubbies, drink holders, and illuminated gauges and switches. Seating includes a full-beam bench forward and a cushioned console seat.
The twin Yamaha motors are new as of 2023 and have been maintained with service performed on both engines and lower units every 100 hours. Optional equipment such as a single-post aft ladder for water access is available.
