The OVNI 435 is an all-aluminum sailing yacht built by Alubat to a design by Philippe Briand. Its full-length centerboard and single rudder with hydraulic lift make it suited for passage-making in varied conditions, including extreme environments—the hull is insulated with styrofoam. The boat measures 42 feet overall with a beam of nearly 14 feet and is powered by a 55 hp Yanmar diesel engine.
The layout includes two double cabins, two heads, a main saloon, a chart table positioned along the centerline, and a technical compartment for the generator and equipment storage. The boat was owned from new and maintained consistently, spending most of its time sailing in the Mediterranean. The standing rigging was replaced in 2022.
The boat is equipped with a bow thruster and electric winches, both helpful for short-handed operation. It is currently undergoing a full inspection, reconditioning, and repainting by Alubat's refit workshop.
