This 2001 Azimut 42 flybridge combines Italian styling with proven diesel performance. Twin Caterpillar 3126 engines deliver 780 horsepower, with a cruising speed of 21 knots and a top speed of 30 knots. The yacht measures 43 feet in length with a 13-foot-6-inch beam and is built of fiberglass. The design, by Stefano Righini, has been maintained and upgraded over recent years with a refreshed interior, updated electronics package, bow thruster, and expanded fuel capacity totaling approximately 450 gallons.
The flybridge offers generous seating, a sun pad, and strong sightlines for cruising and entertaining. Teak decking and stairs lead to the upper helm station. The yacht is outfitted with underwater and exterior LED lighting, mood lighting, outdoor sound system, and a Magma grill. Duplicate navigation systems at both the flybridge and main helms include GPS chartplotters, AIS, autopilot, and VHF radios.
Below deck, the salon features renewed leather furnishings, a flat-screen television, Sonos sound bar, and panoramic windows. The fully equipped galley includes a large-capacity refrigerator, microwave and convection oven, and electric cooktop. Two staterooms sleep up to four guests: a full-beam master with island queen berth, television, and ensuite head with separate shower; and a guest stateroom with twin berths and access to a second head with enclosed shower. Three-zone climate control serves the interior. Additional equipment includes new batteries and battery charger, EPIRB, and recently replaced dock lines and fenders.
