2001 Bavaria 34

This 2001 Bavaria 34 is a solid fiberglass cruiser built around a proven centre cockpit design. The boat combines a reliable Volvo Penta MD2020 diesel engine with a fractional sloop rig featuring Selden aluminium spars, delivering a cruising speed of approximately 5 knots with a maximum of 7 knots. She carries a full suite of Raymarine electronics installed in 2024, including an Axiom 7 chartplotter, autopilot, and dedicated displays for wind, speed, and depth data, alongside an Icom VHF with DSC and Class B AIS transceiver.

The interior accommodates three cabins with six berths arranged around a spacious saloon. A forward double cabin sits ahead, with two additional double cabins aft. The galley is equipped with a cooker, grill, and oven, supported by refrigeration and a hot and cold pressurised water system. A chart table occupies the navigation area, and there is one head with a wet locker nearby.

Recent upgrades include standing and running rigging replaced in 2022, a bow thruster installed in 2024, new canvas work comprising a sprayhood, bimini, and cockpit canopy, and four replacement batteries fitted in 2023–24. The engine was last serviced in March 2026, and the hull has received recent antifouling. Sails include an original Elvstrom mainsail, a 2017 Elvstrom genoa, and a lightly-used spinnaker. Deck equipment includes an electric windlass, boarding ladder, cockpit shower, and flexiteak cockpit with cushions. A dinghy with a Suzuki 2.3 hp outboard is included.
