The 2001 Bayliner 3988 is a 39-foot fiberglass motoryacht powered by twin Cummins diesel engines delivering 660 horsepower. This model has proven popular in Bayliner's lineup and remains a capable cruiser with a beam of just over 14 feet.

The main cabin is built around visibility and open living, with 360-degree sight lines through large sliding windows that flood the space with natural light and fresh air. The salon centers on an L-shaped settee with a convertible hi-lo table, while a full galley sits amidships on the starboard side facing into the cabin for easy guest interaction.
