The Oceanis Clipper 473 is a 2001 Beneteau sailing yacht built to a design that proved itself throughout its production run. The hull and deck are hand-laid fiberglass, and the boat was engineered as a comfortable cruising platform with solid performance. At 46 feet with a 14-foot beam, it offers generous interior volume paired with a wide, well-protected cockpit.
The layout includes three cabins and two heads. The owner's cabin features an island berth, while interior joinery is finished in solid mahogany with careful attention to detail. The saloon benefits from large windows aft of the mast, providing good natural light. The galley is arranged in an L-shape and fully equipped with a dual-refrigerator system. Water tankage totals 700 liters in PVC tanks, supporting extended cruising comfort. A boarding platform and hydraulic passerelle simplify water access.
The yacht is powered by a single 78-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engine, supporting straightforward maneuvering even with a small crew. It carries a furling mainsail in Dacron and a tunnel bow thruster with dedicated battery. B&G instrumentation was partially updated in 2023 to include a log-eco unit and wind station. The portholes and deck hatch were replaced in 2022. Antifouling and engine oil changes were completed in June 2024.
