2001 Blackfin Combi

The 2001 Blackfin 33 Combi is a fiberglass sportfish built for serious fishing. Powered by twin CAT 3126TA diesel engines producing 840 horsepower, she runs at 24 knots cruising speed with a top end of 30 knots. The boat carries approximately 1,290 original hours, with the engines overhauled at 800 hours and roughly 490 hours accumulated since.

A comprehensive engine-out refit completed in 2021 rebuilt both diesels, installed a new starboard turbo, redesigned stainless steel exhausts, and refurbished the entire engine room with a new onboard oil-change system. The boat received a fresh bottom job in 2026 (sanded to glass with epoxy barrier coat) and pre-sale service that included aftercooler work, valve adjustment, new hoses, belts, impellers, and isinglass. Original gelcoat remains unpainted.

The electronics suite is fully modern, centered on a new NMEA 2000 network with all-Garmin equipment: radar, three chartplotters (9", 16", and 16"), 1kW wide-scan sonar, autopilot, and SBX digital engine controls. Additional systems include new 4-blade Acme props, PSS shaft seals, steering, pumps, air conditioning, windlass, and AGM/Victron power with solar integration. Fusion audio rounds out the upgrades.

The fishing layout features a removable fighting chair, flush swivel rod holders, and electrical wiring for three electric reels. A custom aluminum trailer is included with the boat.
