2001 Boston Whaler 13 Sport
About This Yacht
This 2001 Boston Whaler 13 Sport is a compact runabout built on the brand's distinctive twin sponson hull design, which provides stable, dry-riding performance across a range of conditions. The squared-off bow creates an open, spacious cockpit despite the boat's modest 13-foot length and nearly 6-foot beam. Construction uses Boston Whaler's Unibond method, a solid fiberglass approach known for durability and flotation characteristics.
The cockpit is fitted with two bench seats and a fiberglass console housing navigation lights and stainless steel side rails. Storage is integrated into the design, with the six-gallon fuel tank and battery box positioned beneath the helm seat. Power comes from a single 40-horsepower Mercury gasoline engine suitable for recreation on protected waters and inland lakes.
Recent work includes new steering cables, a rebuilt carburetor, new spark plugs, and a new control box. A galvanized EZ Loader trailer is included with the boat. Original documentation and brochure accompany the sale.
