2001 Boston Whaler 22 Dauntless

This 2001 Boston Whaler 22 Dauntless is a center console built on the company's Accutrack hull system, combining a deep-V design with reverse chines and forward spray rail for smooth water handling and dry conditions. The running strakes enhance lift for quick planing and fuel efficiency. Power comes from a 2002 Honda 225-horsepower four-stroke engine with 475 hours logged. The boat reaches 40 mph and measures 22.25 feet long with an 8.5-foot beam.

The layout centers on the console with a reversible pilot seat that functions as a forward-facing bench, leaning post, or aft-facing lounge. An aluminum T-top provides shade and structural support. Equipment includes a ski tow pole, trim table, chemical toilet, dual batteries, two removable elevated fishing seats, and a large rear storage box.

Recent service is extensive: new cushions from Boston Whaler, two new batteries, new bilge pump, new seals and fluid in tilt and trim, new seals and fluid in hydraulic steering, new cowling gasket, new engine oil and filter, new seal and fluid in the lower unit, and new impeller. Spark plugs were replaced last year; the alternator was replaced approximately four years ago, and the washdown pump was replaced three years ago.

A Magic Tilt aluminum tandem-axle trailer is included with new wiring and LED taillights. The trailer has five new tires with fewer than 100 miles of use, and the axles and bearings were recently removed and greased. The winch is also new.
