2001 Carver 396 Aft Cabin Motor Yacht

The 2001 Carver 396 is a 40-foot fiberglass motor yacht built on one of Carver's most successful designs. Twin MerCruiser 8.1L gasoline engines produce 750 horsepower and deliver cruising speeds around 18 knots with a maximum speed of 26 knots. The yacht features a raised walkaround deck and an open-plan interior that creates exceptional volume and living space for a boat of this length.

The salon is bright and airy, with expansive windows and generous seating that flows directly into the galley and dinette. The large aft deck with hardtop provides outdoor entertaining space, while the flybridge offers commanding visibility underway or at anchor. Below deck, two private staterooms and two full heads provide comfortable sleeping and bathing facilities.
