The 2001 Carver 530 Voyager Pilothouse is a 53-foot fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin Volvo diesel engines producing 960 horsepower combined. Built around a distinctive pilothouse design, the boat cruises at 20.86 knots and carries 800 gallons of fuel for extended range. Twin Volvo engines with electronic controls and synchronizer, bow thruster, and a Glendinning cable master system provide strong maneuvering capability and ease of handling.
The interior spans three staterooms plus multiple heads. The full-beam master stateroom includes a separate washer-dryer unit, split head with bath tub, large hanging lockers, and entertainment options. The VIP stateroom has a center island berth and private head access, while the guest stateroom offers upper and lower berths. A fourth head with shower serves the day space. The salon features an L-shaped ultra leather couch with pull-out bed, recliner, hi-lo table, and a Bose surround sound system with Harmon Karden audio components. The galley is equipped with a Sub-Zero refrigerator-freezer, microwave convection oven, three-burner stove, and Avonite countertops.
Navigation and communication systems include dual Horizon depth finders, dual Northstar 952 GPS units, dual ICOM VHF radios, Furuno 48-mile radar, KVH satellite TV, and backup camera. Dual stations throughout allow full command capability. A Simrad AP 20 autopilot with dual stations automates long-range cruising. A 13.5-kW Kohler generator powers a four-zone Marine air conditioning system. Flybridge amenities include a davit, refrigerator, stereo, remote spotlight, bimini top with enclosure, and Maxwell windlass. Flybridge seating was reupholstered in 2009.
