2001 Catalina 36 Mark II

This 2001 Catalina 36 Mark II is a fiberglass coastal cruiser powered by a Universal 35-horsepower diesel engine with approximately 1,046 hours of service. The boat reaches a maximum speed of 7 knots and cruises comfortably at 6 knots, making it well-suited for bay and coastal sailing. It measures 36 feet overall with an 11.92-foot beam.

The interior offers two private staterooms—an aft master cabin with a double berth and a forward V-berth—plus a full head with shower and manual toilet. The salon features an L-shaped settee to port, a removable dinette, and individual seating to starboard with teak and holly flooring throughout. The galley sits port aft with a twin stainless steel sink, two-burner LPG stove and oven, in-counter refrigerator, and substantial storage. A navigation station is positioned to starboard with Raymarine autopilot and depth sounder, Samsung 9-inch chartplotter tablet, and Standard Horizon VHF radio.

The boat has received extensive updates in recent years. A full cockpit enclosure was added in 2015, and the sails include a 2015 Mack 135 jib and a 2021 full-batten Mack main with lazy pack system. New Mack sails rigging and deck hardware include a Maxwell windlass, Mantus 35-pound and Fortress FX 16 anchors, and 125 feet of rode. Recent mechanical work includes replaced engine raw water and freshwater pumps, engine hoses, and a new Seaward hot water heater, all completed in 2025. Power systems have been upgraded with 350 watts of solar panels, a Victron MPPT controller and battery-to-battery charger, an 800 CCA starting battery from 2025, and two 280 amp-hour lithium house batteries installed in 2026. Climate control includes a Dometic 16K BTU heat and air conditioning unit from 2025. Additional features include salon cushions replaced in 2025, a removable dinghy davit system, and a 23-inch television with swivel mount.
