The 2001 Cobalt 226 is a 22-foot fiberglass runabout powered by a Volvo 5.7L Penta sterndrive with 330 horsepower and duoprop drive. It reaches speeds to 55 mph and cruises efficiently at 25 mph. The boat has been customized with a swim platform, a wakeboard tower with bimini, upgraded stereo system with new speakers and head unit, and a high CFM air compressor. The transom includes a large activity platform with an integrated ice chest, and the cockpit features another ice chest positioned under seating. The helm is equipped with a depth gauge, hour meter, leather tilt steering wheel, and remote stereo control, along with Cobalt's flip-lip captain's chair that rises above the windshield.
The boat comes with a custom captain's booster cushion, three inflatable towables, skis, wakeboard, knee board, and approximately 20 PFDs. A trailer is included.
The 226 has been used exclusively on inland freshwater lakes and kept trailered throughout its ownership history. It has never been exposed to salt water. Maintenance and repair records are available for all work performed and aftermarket additions.
