The Lydia 57 is a custom Carolina sportfish convertible built on a composite hull, powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines producing 2,800 horsepower. She cruises at 30 knots and reaches 38 knots at full throttle, with a large fuel capacity suited for offshore range. A full tower and flybridge helm provide excellent sightlines for both fishing and navigation.
The cockpit is purpose-built for serious fishing, featuring a pedestal fighting chair with rod holders, bait prep station with sink and tackle drawers, insulated ice bin, and extensive storage throughout. Cockpit controls allow command of the boat from the working deck. The flybridge helm console includes seating forward and to the sides, with a large cooler and additional storage for electronics and equipment.
Below deck, three cabins and two heads provide comfortable accommodations for extended trips. The engine room is clean and accessible via a hatch in the cockpit adjacent to the bait prep cabinet, allowing easy service and inspection of the twin Cat powerplants.
