2001 Custom sumerset

This 85-foot custom aluminum houseboat built in 2001 offers spacious accommodations with a wide 18-foot beam. The boat features four bedrooms and two full bathrooms, with a king bed in the master suite and queen beds for guests. A hardtop covers the upper deck, providing shade in hot climates without canvas maintenance concerns.

The galley is equipped for serious cooking with a full-size stove and range, microwave, dishwasher, and commercial-grade ice maker. The boat includes a stacked washer and dryer, two hot water heaters, and geothermal heating and cooling throughout. Two full bathrooms are complemented by separate head facilities, and the entire interior is furnished. The kitchen was restored two years ago, and the master bathroom was remodeled in 2026.

Power comes from twin 5.0-liter MPI Mercury V8 engines paired with Bravo 2 outdrives, delivering 250 horsepower total and a cruising speed of 7 knots. A 120/240-volt AC gas generator provides backup power. The boat runs on gasoline and handles lake cruising with steady, fuel-efficient operation.

Recent updates over the past two years include new Raritan toilets and comprehensive furnishings. The aluminum hull and updated systems reflect ongoing maintenance and regular use. A recent survey was completed in March 2024.
