The Grady-White Sportsman 180 is an 18-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull powered by a single 150-horsepower Yamaha engine. The boat features Grady-White's SeaV2 hull design and delivers the handling and sea-keeping qualities associated with larger sportfishing vessels in a manageable size.
The cockpit spans 48 square feet and is outfitted for serious fishing, with horizontal and vertical rod holders that accommodate a dozen rods. An 89-quart insulated fish box sits forward at the bow. The helm console has a rounded design for both safety and appearance, with lockable storage for electronics such as chart recorders, GPS, and VHF radio, plus additional compartments for tackle and gear. The helm seat is a standard bench with a reversible backrest that allows the operator to face aft when at anchor or idle.
The boat includes a casting platform forward, well-suited to fly fishing from the bow. The console area and helm provide straightforward access to all controls. Optional equipment available on this model includes a cockpit shower, fresh water system, and hydraulic steering.
