This 2001 Hatteras 50 Convertible is a fiberglass sportfish powered by twin Caterpillar 3406 diesel engines rated at 1600 horsepower. The boat reaches a maximum speed of 24 knots and cruises efficiently at 20 knots. Recent updates include new heads and four batteries installed in 2002. A 14-foot Novurania inflatable with 25-horsepower 4-stroke Yamaha outboard is included. Additional equipment and spares total approximately $10,000 in value, including a new Cat starter and alternator. Six bilge pumps, 300 feet of 3/8-inch chain with 75-pound Danforth anchor, and a 6-person Viking life raft round out the systems.
