2001 Hatteras 55 Convertible

The 2001 Hatteras 55 Convertible is a 55-foot fiberglass sportfish designed for serious fishing and cruising. Powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines producing 2,800 horsepower, the boat features a 17-foot 4-inch beam that provides a wide, stable platform. The design combines performance with comfortable accommodations, offering a smooth ride and responsive handling.

Below deck, the yacht includes three staterooms with queen-size tapered berths and under-berth storage, along with three heads. The main salon and dinette provide flexible living arrangements for both extended cruising and day trips. The flybridge is equipped with a pod-style helm console, extended overhang, and power steering, plus an optional tournament console with power-actuated electronics control is available.

The 157-square-foot cockpit is purpose-built for fishing, featuring a foot-pedal-operated bait and tackle center, drop-in freezer, multiple rod holders, and an integrated transom fish box with plumbing for an optional livewell. Freshwater and seawater washdowns complete the fishing setup. The boat runs on original engines with fewer than 3,000 hours of operation and is equipped with sonar.
