2001 Hatteras 70 Convertible

The Hatteras 70 Convertible combines the refined aesthetics and cruising comfort of a luxury yacht with the functionality expected of a dedicated sportfisher. Her 73-foot length and 18-foot beam create an expansive platform suited to extended voyages and serious fishing operations alike. Twin MTU diesel engines produce 3,602 horsepower, delivering a cruising speed of 8.1 knots and a maximum speed of 11.6 knots.

The interior layout encompasses four staterooms and four heads arranged throughout the yacht. The full-beam master features a king berth, entertainment center, and ensuite head. The bow stateroom offers a queen walk-around berth with beneath-berth storage access. Two additional guest staterooms provide flexible sleeping configurations with upper and lower berths, as well as convertible twin-to-queen arrangements. The main salon is appointed with a full galley, comfortable seating, entertainment center, and wetbar, while fluted wood valances, blinds, and frameless windows contribute to the interior finish.

The bridge is fully enclosed and equipped for fishing or cruising, with an optional interior stairwell providing access from below. A separate aft control station on the bridge supports convenient maneuvering and fishing operations. The expansive aft deck can accommodate optional amenities such as an icemaker or molded fiberglass seating with cushions.

The 159-square-foot cockpit is purpose-built for fishing, featuring twin storage boxes, a refrigerator and freezer unit, molded transom fish box, seawater and freshwater washdowns, and rod holders throughout.
