2001 Horizon 56

This 2001 Horizon 56 is a fiberglass motor yacht built for charter service and designed to accommodate eight guests across four queen berths. Twin Caterpillar 3208TA diesel engines, each producing 450 horsepower, provide propulsion, supported by a 12kW generator and fueled by a 750-gallon capacity tank. The yacht measures 56 feet in length with a 15-foot beam.

The layout centers on a bright salon and lower helm station that flow into a fully equipped galley, with the upper flybridge offering dual helm seats for easy handling. The accommodation includes four full queen berths with standing headroom, three heads with separate showers (two en-suite), and climate control throughout. An aft deck with outdoor dining area connects to a full-width swim platform accessed by sea stairs.

A comprehensive 2024 refit addressed core systems: new propeller shaft seals, rudder seals, trim actuators, zinc anodes, and two new nibral propellers; new thru hulls throughout; fresh batteries and charge controller; all engine and generator belts, fluids, and filters; and a starboard engine manifold and elbow replacement. The galley received a complete renovation with a 7-cubic-foot refrigerator, matching freezer, induction cooktop, and new appliances. New LifeProof flooring, resealed windows and portholes, and refreshed engine room lighting and paint complete the work.

Onboard systems include dual helm stations with GPS and Raytheon instruments, VHF radio, electric windlass, bow thruster, air conditioning, 110/220-volt electrical systems with four automatic bilge pumps, and an electric dinghy davit. A watermaker supports the 350-gallon fresh water capacity. Deck equipment includes bimini top, swim platform, BBQ grill, and outdoor furniture.
