2001 Hunter 320

The 2001 Hunter 320 is a 31-foot fiberglass sloop designed for comfortable cruising and responsive sailing. Powered by a Yammer 18 hp diesel engine, the boat features a well-proportioned hull with a beam of nearly 11 feet, providing stability and interior space. The design emphasizes easy handling with in-mast furling on the mainsail and roller furling on the genoa, along with a sloop rigging configuration that balances performance with manageable sail plans.

The interior accommodates four adults with a forward cabin offering a single berth and an aft cabin with a double berth, both fitted with storage lockers. The main salon features a convertible dinette arrangement with teak and holly cabin trim and approximately 6 feet 3 inches of headroom throughout. The galley includes a stove, refrigerator, and microwave oven with ample stowage. A fully equipped head compartment contains a marine toilet, sink, shower, and vanity with more than 6 feet of standing room. Fresh water capacity is 45 gallons, with a 24-gallon holding tank for waste management.

Recent updates enhance both performance and functionality. A new high-grade marine paint coating was applied to the hull bottom in 2024 for protection and performance. Modern rigging was installed the same year, as was a new Raymarine Evolution EV-150 autopilot. Navigation equipment includes a compass, depth sounder, knot meter, wind instruments, and a 25-watt VHF radio. Safety systems feature manual and electric bilge pumps, lifelines, and a stainless steel bow pulpit. The boat is fitted with a new anchor, chain, and rode, plus a solar-powered cabin vent for ventilation.

Topside, the cockpit offers generous seating with removable cushions and includes a walk-through transom with swim platform and telescopic ladder. A bimini top with stainless steel frame provides weather protection, and a stainless steel arch supports the boom and supplies handholds throughout the deck area. Fuel capacity is 22 gallons.
