2001 Hunter 380

The Hunter 380 is a 37-foot fiberglass cruising sailboat built on comfort and livability. A Yanmar diesel engine rated at 40 horsepower provides propulsion, with cruising speeds around 6 knots and a maximum speed of 7 knots.

Interior layout centers on a generous salon with convertible dinette and facing settee, both positioned to take advantage of the abundant natural light from the signature windshield, fixed ports, screened ports, and multiple overhead hatches. The galley spans the full width of the boat with a double-basin stainless steel sink, Corian countertops, side-by-side ice boxes, and top-loading trash bins. A dedicated navigation station with integrated electronics sits nearby. The forward cabin contains a stateroom with en suite vanity, sink, hanging lockers, and drawer storage. The aft master stateroom features a queen berth with extensive storage. A separate head with Corian vanity, electric marine toilet, shower stall, and fiberglass enclosure serves both cabins. On deck, the cockpit prioritizes crew comfort with extended coaming that creates generous seating for eight. A custom console with folding table leaves accommodates outdoor dining. The design emphasizes ventilation through port placement and includes optional reverse-cycle air and heat for cruising.
