2001 Kadey-Krogen 39

The 2001 Kadey-Krogen 39 is a full-displacement trawler built with hand-laid fiberglass construction, designed for stable, comfortable cruising in varying sea conditions. Her single John Deere diesel engine produces 112 horsepower and is paired with a large propeller and skeg for fuel efficiency and reliable operation. The yacht features a flybridge with a second helm station and excellent sightlines, providing both functional command and a comfortable social space underway or at anchor.

The interior layout centers on a bright, airy salon with large windows and panoramic views. The L-shaped settee converts to a double berth for additional guest sleeping capacity. The forward master stateroom contains a centerline queen berth with storage underneath, a large hanging locker, and numerous drawers. The ensuite head includes a separate shower stall. A U-shaped galley is equipped with a deep stainless steel sink, propane stove with oven, refrigerator/freezer, and substantial counter and storage space.

Recent work includes annual impeller, oil, and filter changes; bottom sandblasting and repainting with barrier-system paint; propeller tuning; anode replacement; a new line cutter on the shaft; and a new shower sump pump and engine room blower. The engine room has been maintained with organized tool and spare parts storage for easy access. Brightwork was stripped and refinished, bridge and pilot seat cushions were replaced, new genset and engine batteries were installed, and the exhaust hose was replaced. The yacht receives professional detailing twice annually.
