2001 Lagoon 570

This 2001 Lagoon 570 is a 56-foot cruising catamaran built from fiberglass with the beam and interior volume characteristic of the model. Twin Yanmar diesel engines of 148 hp each drive the boat to a maximum speed of 6.5 knots, with a cruising speed around 3.8 knots.

The layout includes six cabins and five heads, accommodating extended cruising or charter operations. The design prioritizes volume and comfort for long passages, with a dedicated crew cabin as part of the configuration.

A major refit completed between 2023 and 2026 brought the boat to current standards. New sails and rigging were installed, along with a complete Raymarine electronics suite, Starlink connectivity, 2000-watt solar panels, and a new battery bank. Both engines and saildrives received overhaul, and a high-capacity water-maker was fitted. These upgrades support an extended cruising range of 5000 nautical miles and readiness for offshore passage-making or racing programs under the MOCRA and Multi 2000 class rules.
