2001 Leopard 42

The 2001 Leopard 42 is a fiberglass catamaran built on proven design principles that have made this model a recognized performer in cruising fleets worldwide. At 42 feet with a 22.75-foot beam, the hull delivers the stability and ease of handling characteristic of the class, powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines of 78 horsepower each.

The boat accommodates four cabins and four heads, offering comfortable layout for extended cruising. A 2023 refit added lithium battery storage and solar power, while the majority of underwater through-hull fittings were replaced (9 of 12), along with new hatch acrylic and other systems upgrades.

The Leopard 42 benefits from Robertson and Caine's construction methods, emphasizing straightforward, low-maintenance systems and structural durability. The boat has seen active cruising use, including extended passages through the Caribbean and Central American waters.
