The Maiora 20 is a 68-foot fiberglass flybridge yacht built in 2001, powered by twin MTU diesel engines producing 2,700 horsepower. She cruises at 24 knots and reaches a top speed of 30 knots, making her capable of fast coastal and ocean passages. The beam of 18 feet 4 inches provides a solid platform for extended cruising in open water.
Accommodation comprises three cabins and three heads, designed for comfort during long passages. The flybridge layout includes an outdoor table, with the main entertaining area having been restored following removal of a BBQ and outdoor kitchen.
Recent work has been extensive. The engines were serviced, and the propellers were recalibrated with new hydraulic lines installed throughout. The bottom received a fresh coat of paint. Mechanical and electrical systems have been upgraded: new air conditioning units, new chillers, a brand new generator, rebuilt trim tabs with new hydraulic lines, and a new switch panel for the hydraulic swim platform, gangway, and stairs. The flybridge has been outfitted with new LED ceiling lights and speakers, and a voltage transformer was installed onboard. New zincs were fitted as part of routine maintenance.
