2001 Maiora 24

The Maiora 24 is a 79-foot Italian-built flybridge motor yacht from 2001 powered by twin 3,000 hp MTU engines. The boat reaches 28 knots at top speed and cruises at 24 knots. The fiberglass hull spans nearly 20 feet in beam, offering substantial space for extended cruising and entertaining.

Accommodations comprise five cabins and five heads, providing comfortable berths for family and guests. Interior joinery features mahogany throughout. The flybridge layout is typical of the category, with a teak cockpit, teak side walkways, and dual helm stations for operational flexibility. The boat includes an electric windlass, two hydraulic flaps for trim control, and tender cranes mounted on the flybridge.

In 2019, significant mechanical work was undertaken: new sea strainers, new engine and riser exhaust systems, serviced and cleaned heat exchangers, new high-pressure engine tubes, and a new 27 kW generator installation. The hull and topsides received full polishing, new anti-fouling, and fresh zinc anodes. New teak was installed on the aft platform cover boards, and exterior cushion covers were replaced.

Navigation and communication equipment includes a chartplotter with GPS antenna, radar, VHF radio, and speed instruments. Below deck, the yacht carries a boiler, air conditioning, microwave, oven, galley refrigerator, ice maker, electric marine heads, and an automatic bilge pump. Entertainment systems include satellite television with decoder and stereo speakers. An outdoor shower, hydraulic passerelle, and platform extend the usable deck space.
